Master’s in Attention to Diversity and Educational Support
This master’s degree is aimed at education, psychology, and educational psychology graduates interested in acquiring the professional skills to work with people who require a different type of educational approach and support.
What does the Master’s in Attention to Diversity and Educational Support offer?
Attention to diversity is one of the great educational challenges of our century. Today, teachers must have the skills necessary to respond to diverse needs in the classroom. Therefore, the Master’s in Attention to Diversity and Educational Support qualifies students to work in this specialised field of education.
The disappearance of postgraduate programmes, such as the Master’s in Special Education and the Master’s in Speech and Hearing Science, makes this Master’s in Attention to Diversity and Educational Support an excellent option for graduates interested working in this field.
This programme enables students to develop a set of professional skills to work effectively with people with different educational needs.
Objectives and competences
This programme meets the objectives outlined in the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education and guarantees the acquisition of the basic competences required to award a master’s degree certificate in accordance with Article 3.3 of Annex I of Royal Decree 1393/2007.
In line with these objectives, students will acquire a set of competences that are consistent with fundamental rights and gender equality, the principles of equal opportunities and universal access for persons with disabilities, and values inherent in a culture of peace and democracy.
